In every "progressive" movement, whether environmentalism, socialism, atheism, or any other "ism"; there are two groups: the True Believers, and the Totalitarians.
The True Believers are the foot soldiers. These folks actually believe that CO2 is a pollutant, that God does not exist, or that they can raise their standard of living by making rich men poor.
The totalitarians are the "limousine liberals." These are the ones that Orwell so aptly described in Animal Farm: "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." They do not truly care about the poor, or religion, or any other cause, but rather they just welcome any excuse to exercise control over others.
The most dangerous people in the world are Liberals who are BOTH.

Rich men are rich because they greedily kept the rest of us away from access. That lasted for a couple of hundred years. Now, it's time for payback. We got our man in the harness.
Or, maybe, the rich are rich because they decided to get a good education, take risks, and work exceedingly hard. Equal opportunity, not equal outcome is the name of the game. You always have had equal opportunity. What you lacked was equal ambition. Get off your butt if you want to succeed. America is full of those who came from humble origins and are successful. Don't blame your failure on other's success.
When Obama finally leaves office and you are still poor, who will you blame then? By the way, how's that "hope and change" working?
When he said "some are more equal", did he mean some were grabby for power? Was Sadaam more equal?
